Mark David Hill was born in Houston Texas in 1961. At the age of 12, at First Baptist Church in Hooks Texas, Mark accepted Christ as his Savior. He attended all of Hooks’ public schools and graduated from High School with honors in 1979. In 1981 he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and served four years as a weather observer and was honorably discharged in 1984. On his twenty-fifth birthday he rededicated his life and made Christ the Lord of his life. He then earned a Bachelor’s in Religion from the Baptist Missionary Theological Seminary in Jacksonville Texas, in 1989. He did graduate work at East Texas State University in both Commerce and Texarkana Texas and graduated with a Masters of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Psychology and Counseling in 1993. In 2000, he entered Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport Louisiana to begin doctoral work in Biblical Studies. He completed all of his course studies there then transferred them to All Nations Baptist Seminary in Atlanta Texas where he completed a PhD in Biblical Studies majoring in Missions.Mark married Elizabeth Ann Dressler in Paris Texas in 1990. He and Beth have four children, Brandi, Jacob, Nathan, and Lyndy. Mark has served in Baptist churches on staff and as a layperson for three decades. He has served as youth minister, music minister, Sunday School teacher, Missions Pastor, Administrative Pastor, and Pastor. Mark is the President and founder of Christ Centered Homes, Inc. He and his wife started this 501(c)3 non-profit in 1993 to be a multi-faceted ministry supporting missionaries, building churches, and supply program funds for orphanages, medical clinics, and various other ministries.
